Sting USA Boxing Approved Open Face Head Guard is a boxing head guard designed for use during boxing training and competition, constructed in accordance with USA Boxing guidelines and carrying USA Boxing approval for use in sanctioned competition environments. The guard features an open face, cut-away profile that is designed to maintain the wearer's field of vision across a wide range during both training and competition, allowing the wearer to observe movement and incoming strikes from multiple directions while the guard is in place. Padding is incorporated across the brow, cheek, and temple sections of the guard, distributing coverage across the primary impact zones of the head and face. The ear area of the guard incorporates a hidden ear design that is positioned to assist in managing shock absorption across the sides of the head during striking contact. Gel Fusion technology is integrated into the padding structure of the guard and is designed to assist in managing and dispersing strike energy upon impact during training and sparring. The interior of the guard is lined with Japanese Amara material, which sits directly against the head during wear and provides air permeability and a contact surface between the internal padding and the wearer. A fast-fit hook and loop adjustment system is fitted to the guard, allowing the fit to be secured, adjusted, and released efficiently to suit the wearer's head dimensions. The anatomically designed cut-away profile of the guard is shaped to follow the contours of the head while maintaining the open face construction.
