The Estes Lunar Scout rocket is a lightweight model with just enough detail to make this a fun but challenging build. This Intermediate-Level kit includes laser-cut cardstock fins and other parts to create an amazing flying model rocket. Intricately designed water-slide decals add an additional note of realism.

• INTERMEDIATE MODEL-ROCKET-BUILDING KIT: The Space Corps Lunar Scout rocket kit offers kids ages 10+ and rocketeer enthusiasts a lightweight and challenging build. It includes rocket parts, design decals, and instructions. It requires Estes rocket engines, starters, recovery wadding, launch pad system, and 4 high-quality 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries (sold separately).
• SOARS UP TO 200 FT.: The Space Corps Lunar Scout model rocket was made for flying in small fields. It has a projected altitude of 200 ft. (61 m) with an A10-3T Estes model rocket engine (sold separately) and is compatible with 1/2A3-2T, A3-4T, and A10-0T rocket engines.
• READY TO ASSEMBLE: This intermediate model kit requires about 2 hours of assembly time, offering a rewarding build-and-launch project for young learners. Then pair it with an Estes Porta-Pad II Pad and Electron Beam Controller (sold separately).
